Details: • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management (or related industry experience) * 7-10 years in of experience or equivalent in procurement, strategic sourcing or contract writing * Experience in contracting and strong negotiation skills * Strong interpersonal skills, a team focus and the ability to work in cross-functional teams. * Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills * Ability to work on multiple issues and tasks * Ability to develop stakeholder and vendor relationships * Understanding of procurement processes, policies and procedures * Ability to lead teams * Knowledge of cost structures and able to analyze cost components as well as total cost of ownership * Proven supplier management abilities with emphasis on supplier development and continuous improvement * Understand various contract types and how to execute and manage them * Ability to plan and effectively conduct effective negotiations with suppliers to achieve the best total cost of ownership for our client * Thorough knowledge of source-to-pay process including SOx and internal audit documentation requirements in order to maintain policy and regulation compliance * Knowledge of contract, insurance, IP, and state and local government laws * Strategic and analytical thinker with keen business acumen * Customer focused * Highly organized and detail oriented with strong ability to prioritize * High ethical standards and integrity
