Details: Gilchrist Construction, LLC, a heavy highway contractor head-quartered in Central, LA is now accepting applications for a Project Coordinator.  The Project Coordinator works in a learning capacity, under the direction of an Area Division Manager or Senior Project Manager, on a single construction project with limited operation and scope.  Under the direction of an assigned mentor, the Project Coordinator is responsible for leading the operation planning process, and ensures plan implementation through coaching and supporting field managers.  Responsible for controlling and monitoring production flow through the use of Viewpoint PM Reporting Tools (GP2S Daily & Monthly PPC, GP2S Project Plan and Progress, GP2S "C" Report, and GP2S Board Notes).  Works with internal and external project partners to analyze construction activities and identify waste to ensure a successful project for all partners.Demonstrates the ability to establish and achieve project safety goals and has a good understanding of OSHA and company safety rules and requirements.
