Details: XL Group is looking for a highly organized and analytical Senior Reinsurance Technician to join the Ceded Reinsurance Team in Exton, PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for:-- Interpreting complex reinsurance contracts to determine the correct contract coding in ProCede-- Coding Facultative reinsurance into the system and working with the underwriters to make sure that the facultative certificates correctly reflect the intent of reinsurance-- Ensure cessions accurately reflect Reinsurance contracts/Facultative terms and conditions-- Ensure that Reinsurance premium adjustments and reinsurance loss calculations for excess of loss reinsurance agreements are completed in time and communicated to Reinsurers/brokers.-- Ensure reinsurance calculations on large loss reports are performed accurately according to contract terms.-- Assist in developing data quality process for reinsurance contracts managed in Exton.-- Training the off shore team-- Performing monthly data quality/verification process and explaining any discrepancies found-- Communicating internally with reinsurance placement team, underwriting, claims and externally with the reinsurance brokers-- Acquire and command the knowledge of the systems used within the company (WINS, CH GENIUS, Hartford GENIUS, ProCede, Global Claims System, Documentum)-- Assist in quarterly Schedule F completion and reconciliation to the General Ledger-- Assist in quarterly accrual calculation
