Details: Our Client in Westford, MA is seeking a Telesales Specialist to develop prescriptive training solutions. The successful candidate will prospect leads (Opportunity Identification), work with inside sales and field teams, identify customer opportunities and provide all education product/offering information to potential buyers. Opportunities will be worked in conjunction with sales and education delivery and will involve ownership (Opportunity Ownership) of the customer opportunity throughout the entire sales process. This position may require working with multifaceted training organizations and requirements. To succeed in this position, you must network and build relationships with field sales and telesales organizations, possess excellent customer services skills, familiarity and comfort with building relationships at all levels within corporate organizations and project a confident telephone manner. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: •Achieve yearly quotas of approximately $800K ($150-$200K) per quarter) •Manage multifaceted training deals in conjunction with sales and services teams •Outbound calls to customers/extended IBM team •Identify, qualify and win opportunities •Develop relationships and work with extended team to understand client needs •Work with client to determine specific training and delivery needs •Handle questions and objections and present provocative, unsolicited solutions to customers •Be able explain and match the benefits of a solution to the customer •Work with extended team to attach training to product deals Activities: •Encourage IBM extended team members to pass leads •Maintain territory/industry knowledge •Utilize CRM tool (Siebel) and historical data to develop territory/coverage plans •Work within a highly matrixed environment •Provide accurate weekly forecasts •Participate in weekly pipeline/cadence reviews Skills Required: •Bachelor's Degree •Project management skills •Strong sales abilities and aptitude a must •Strong communication skills •Ability to build relationships internally and externallyWorking hours for the position are Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm and Friday 8:00am-3:00pm.
