Get great experience with a wonderful company, and put a great start on your careers resume!  Client Lead SupervisorAccountable for managing the process and directly ensuring the availability of qualified flexible staff to meet the needs of our client. The Client Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and training the flexible staff in the facility.  *Responsible for the efficient manufacturing and continuous improvement of products and processes, ensuring that product quality, employee safety, and food safety standards, as well as regulatory requirements, are met or exceeded.*Coordinates employee activity to optimize productivity, supports good manufacturing practices including the proper use of equipment and materials, and promotes training and development. Achievement of labor budget*Ensures the production schedule developed by the client is met to support the highest levels of customer service and production efficiency. Ensures order fill metrics are exceeded or met. Provides feedback and input to support schedule adherence. *Responsible for ensuring labor efficiencies and goals are achieved *Works with Business Unit Leader regarding ongoing team member performance and feedback.*Assures that Employee Safety Accountabilities are completed. Identifies compliance issues promptly and reports to appropriate individual.*Coordinates equipment change-overs and repairs with line mechanic staff and production staff. *Ensures team members follow inventory control procedures.*With QA, Safety, and others as appropriate, assists in execution of action plans related to health and safety and assures the highest levels of compliance. Personal Qualities/Characteristics/ Mental ActivitiesAbility to manage performance of others.*Ability to train employees Ability to prioritize and follow-through to achieve results High level of personal initiative, self-driven, action and results orientedThrives in a challenging, entrepreneurial atmosphere; open to change and creating changeExcellent interpersonal skills, team player, generates enthusiasm, builds effective working relationships at all levels Primary Responsibilities Ensure clear direction, priorities, and alignment for the shift and business unit. * Manage direct and indirect labor efficiently. * Track and gap results versus work plan and budget for all KPI's including safety and quality to deliver team goals. * Provide training, coaching and facilitation. * Manage the Safety system within the area. * Coach and lead the team on execution of daily management systems in the business unit and Operational Standards documentation. * Improve and sustain assessment scores and processes. * Ensure Operational Standards are executed with excellence. * Work with Maintenance Lead, Engineering and other as needed to ensure follow up to significant issues are captured. * Lead the shift team meeting. * Communicate team/shift results and needs to business unit manager. Minimum RequirementsBachelors Degree strongly preferred. * Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred. * Minimum 2 years experience in an operations leadership role. * Cross functional operations experience with a strong understanding of various plant functions desired. * Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills - Process Thinker - reliance on facts and data. * Strong proficiency with MS Office. * Strong oral and written communication skills required. Working ConditionsManufacturing environment requiring strict work/safety rules and protective equipment approximately 80% of time; typical office 20% of time.Physical Activities Required - The physical activities described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
